Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday expressed satisfaction over the performance of ministers in fulfilling announcements made in budgets during the past four years and the Congress' election manifesto.
Speaking to reporters on the second day of a 'Chintan Shivir' during which Gehlot is reviewing their performances, the chief minister said the ministers had briefed him about the works done by their departments.
"Most of the ministers have delivered a good performance. The work done is overall satisfactory," he said.
He said such an initiative was also taken during his previous government to assess its performance.
Usually, department secretaries give a briefing during such assessments. This time, however, the ministers are briefing on their department's works, Gehlot said.
The two-day 'shivir' started on Monday. On the first day, various schemes, programmes, budgets, public announcements, and implementation of important decisions and plans of 14 departments, including medical and health, were discussed.
