From vibrant lights to Ayodhya is all decked up for the grandiose 'Pran Prathistha' of the Ram Lalla idol during the consecration ceremony at Ram Mandir today. The Prime Minister's office shared the aerial video of the grand temple ahead of his arrival in Ayodhya to take part in the event. Reportedly the video was shot from PM Modi's helicopter.
The video depicted vibrance in the city as the streets and skyline of Ayodhya are covered with saffron flags fluttering from rooftops of buildings.
Two days ago, the first video of the newly built Ram Mandir emerged on social media by India's national broadcaster Doordarshan.
After the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony, PM Modi is scheduled to address the gathering on the occasion.
"The historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be attended by representatives of all major spiritual and religious sects of the country. People from all walks of life including representatives of various tribal communities will also attend the ceremony," read the official statement.
After the mega ceremony, the Prime Minister will interact with labourers who have been building the Ram Temple.
He would also visit Kuber Tila, where the ancient temple of Lord Shiv has been restored.
