Rashtriya Rozgar Mela: PM Distributes 51,106 Appointment Letters To New Appointees

"From food to pharma, from space to startups, it is necessary for all sectors to grow for any economy.” PM added, highlighting the importance of all sectors for a blooming economy, in his virtual address at the eighth edition of the Rozgar Mela.

At the 8th edition of Rozgar Mela, on Monday, the PM in his virtual address, highlighted the several changes that have been made in the recruitment process for paramilitary forces  in order to open new avenues for youth. He further added that the recruitment process in paramilitary forces had been devised such, to lessen the time of recruitment. He added that among the job opportunities for youngsters, Pharma and automobile sectors were growing rapidly and had the potential to create huge job opportunities in days to come.  The PM further claimed that India will climb to become one of world’s top three economies, “When I give this guarantee, I do that will full responsibility," said PM Modi. "From food to pharma, from space to startups, it is necessary for all sectors to grow for any economy.” PM added, highlighting the importance of all sectors for a blooming economy.  “The government should focus on the purchase of Made-in-India laptops, computers with vocal for local mantra giving boost to manufacturing, jobs,” he further stated. 

The PM also underlined the key role played by Jan Dhan Yojana in creating job opportunities. He also urged the new paramilitary recruits to sign themselves up at the new portal and enrol into courses to up-skill themselves.  “Whatever you will learn during these courses will help you in becoming an excellent officer," said PM Modi. The PM also emphasised on maintaining physical fitness and health even during service. 

The Rozgar Mela will be held at 45 locations across India, and has been going on, under the Government Of India’s initiative- Mission Recruitment. Appointment letters have also been distributed to lakhs of youth every month. As per an official, the Mela was organised to distribute 51,106 appointment letters to new appointees. 

The Ministry Of Home Affairs will also recruit personnel in CRPF, BSF, Shashtra Seema Bal (SSB), Assam Rifles, CISF, ITBP, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the Delhi police, who will join in positions ranging across Constable (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (GD) and Non-GD Cadre Posts in various organisations under the ministry.
