Sant Nirankari Mission’s Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj also known as Rev Mata among her devotees, passed away in Delhi on Sunday due to prolonged illness .
Sant Nirankari Mission in a statement said "This is to inform all that Rev Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj left the mortal body and merged into this Almighty Nirankar in Delhi today, August 5, 2018. The end came around at 5.15 p.m. (IST) at her residence, Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sant Nirankari Colony."
"Rev Mata Ji’s body will be placed for Antim Darshan by devotees in Ground No.8 from 9.00 p.m. today till the night of August 7. The Antim Darshan programme will continue day and night. The Antim Yatra will begin from Ground No.8 on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 and reach Nigam Bodh Ghat at 12.00 Noon for last rites" the statement added.
On July 16, Sister Sudiksha was named as the spiritual head of the Sant Nirankari Mission. The youngest daughter of late Baba Hardev Singh was anointed as the Nirankari Satguru at a ceremony in Burari. Late Baba Hardev Singh had died in a road accident in Canada in May 2016.
