Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur will unveil the mascot, torch and anthem of the 5th edition of Khelo India Youth Games on January 7.
The mascot will be launched in the presence of various school and college students, sports experts, sportspersons, social media influencers etc. at Shaurya Smarak Complex in Bhopal at 6 pm, informed Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia.

It is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh that the state has got the opportunity to host Khelo India, she said by adding that no stone will be left unturned to make this event successful and memorable.
Minister Scindia reviewed the preparations for the Khelo India Youth Games at TT Nagar Stadium.
The fifth edition of Khelo India Youth Games will be held from January 30 to February 11 in eight cities of the state including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Mandla, Balaghat and Khargone (Maheshwar). One game (cycling) will be held in Delhi. For the first time water sports namely Kayaking Canoeing, Canoe Slalom and Fencing will be part of this edition of Khelo India Games. For 13 days, 27 games will be played in 23 game venues in 9 cities. Around 6 thousand players, 303 international and 1089 national officials will be part of these games. About 2 thousand volunteers will be deployed in different game venues for Khelo India.
