In a bid to control the distressed situation in the southern state after Cyclone Michaung, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin submitted a memorandum to the Central team seeking ₹7,033 crore as interim relief and ₹12,659 crore as permanent relief . The team reportedly visited the affected places to assess the impact of Cyclone Michaung.
