Within this context, the Indian government’s introduction of the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2022 holds substantial controversy. The bill supposedly seeks to establish a comprehensive legal architecture to ensure the protection of individual data privacy while also delineating the responsibilities of enterprises in handling such data.
