The Kirti Mandir is a museum in Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi's birthplace of Porbandar, Gujarat. The museum complex also includes the ancestral home of Gandhi, revered the world over as Mahatma. The museum commemorates the life and values of Gandhi through photographs, exhibits, and a library that contains books by Gandhi and about his values. Gandhi's ancestral home, which he himself transferred to the public for the construction of the museum, is right next to the museum. A photo exhibition traces the story of Gandhi's life along with his wife Kasturba.
