The Safdarjung observatory, considered the official marker for the national capital, recorded traces of rainfall, while some observatories like Ayanagar, Gurgaon and Jafarpur recorded 1.2 mm, 4.5 mm and 8.5 mm of precipitation respectively between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm.

The 24-hour Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in the moderate category at at 179.
An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered "good", 51 and 100 "satisfactory", 101 and 200 "moderate", 201 and 300 "poor", 301 and 400 "very poor" and 401 and 500 "severe". An AQI above 500 falls in the "severe-plus" category.
According to the government's air quality forecasting agency, SAFAR, moderate surface winds are likely to maintain the dispersion and air quality. The overall air quality is likely to be in the "moderate" category for the next three days.
The agency has said for the subsequent six days, the air quality is likely to oscillate between "moderate" and "poor".
