A police officer in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao landed in a trouble after a selfie of his wife and children with bundles of cash surfaced on social media.
The photograph, which emerged on social media, shows the police officer's wife and two children sitting on a bed with a huge pile of cash.

The incident resulted in an immediate transfer for the station-in-charge Ramesh Chandra Sahani. An investigation has been launched against him as well.

As per media reports, a senior investigating officer said, "A photograph of a station-house officer is going viral on social media. It shows the cop's wife and his children with bundles of notes. We have taken cognizance of the matter and the cop has been transferred to police line.An investigation has been launched."
However, defending himself, Sahani said that the alleged photograph was taken on November 14, 2021, when he sold a family property.
