Three students were killed after unexpected flooding occurred in the basement of an IAS coaching centre in Delhi. The flooding, which was caused by heavy rain, flooded by basement by up to seven feet. Three students were trapped and are feared drowned whereas 30 managed to space the floods on Saturday night.

Following the death of three UPSC aspirants in Delhi's Old Rajendra Nagar on Saturday, several students and activists have protested against the lack of action by Delhi's Municipal Cooperation.

Due to heavy rains in the capital on Saturday, water gushed into the basement of an IAS coaching centre. As per rescue officials, the water was as high as seven feet and the flooding resulted in the death of three students. Rescue operations are underway for any other missing students in the water.

The Paris Olympics continues to be accompanied by rain. These heavy rains have further led to delays and postponement of several Olympic games such as skateboarding and tennis.

The first event of the skateboarding competition, men's street skateboarding, was postponed from Saturday until Monday because of the showers. The women's event is scheduled for Sunday.

The start of play in the scheduled tennis matches on the 10 smaller courts at Roland Garros was delayed because of rain, but action was able to get going in the two main stadiums, which both have retractable roofs.

The landslide occurred near Tumba Padar village at Bayapadar ghat road at Nakamamudi gram panchayat under Korukonda block of Malkangiri district on Saturday afternoon.

Following the rains on Saturday, the weather department has predicted more rains in the region, increasing the risk of more landslides.

Chhattiagarh Mine Flood News: Body Of Missing SECL Officer Found

The body of a South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) official who was swept away after rain water flooded a portion of a mine in Chhattisgarh's Korba district was found on Sunday post a 16-hour search, police said.

SECL assistant manager (mining) Jitendra Nagarkar (41) had gone missing at around 4:30 pm on Saturday at the Kusmunda coal mine, an official said.

Nagarkar and five others, who were present at the mine's Godawari face, got stuck in the route of water flow into the sump, a huge excavated portion of the mine to collect water that is then pumped onto the surface, the official said.
