Why I Love Outlook

It digs below the surface, unmasking what we do not want to see or have not been shown.

Outlook for me means a certain global perspective. Not propaganda-driven news, but the ability to take a stand on all relevant issues today. What I enjoy most about Outlook magazine is how it reflects on the international and national political scenarios. It digs below the surface, unmasking what we do not want to see or have not been shown. It’s brave and relevant when today journalism is all about news being manipulated. Outlook’s agenda does not seem to be appeasement, but the search for the “truth” which requires a lot of courage. I respect that.

What also stands out about the newsmagazine is that it’s not obsessed with Bollywood and acknowledges that Indian cinema has much more than the mainstream. Being a film-lover, I enjoy reading the reviews because they talk about cinematic excellence in a film rather than always measuring music, attire, sets and how well the film would appeal to the masses.
