Gurgaon based fintech SlayPay known for making ‘cool’ customisable payment cards has recently unveiled its waitlist. The payment card company seeks to challenge traditional banks & incumbent fintechs who offer regular looking cards with “vanilla designs”, visible card details, numbers, signature panels, etc through a card that users can customise the way they want.
Using the SlayPay app, users can add any images, texts, characters or designs on their payment cards. Those with a creative mind can also upload any design they like to get printed on their VISA Platinum cards.
Users can simply pre-register for this card on the company’s website and avail early-bird benefits. Once registered, users will be receiving access to the SlayPay app based on their rank in the waitlist. For enthusiasts, the company even offers ways to skip the queue by referring a few friends or paying a nominal token amount.
Founder/CEO Sidhant RYAN Malhotra while talking about the waitlist explained
“You don't choose your early customers, they choose you! So while we want SlayPay to reach the hands of millions of people eventually…We want to roll it out to the enthusiasts and loyalists who will join this journey with us from an early stage first.”
One can observe similar waitlists by fintech giants of the west like Monzo and Robinhood when they were launching as well.
As their waitlist grows, SlayPay is also providing special access to influencers and celebrities to use their app.
