Nikki Bedi: Actress, TV anchor

Born to an Indian father and an English mother, Nikki shot into limelight in 1990 when she met Kabir Bedi while working together in Othello and broke Kabir’s vow that he would never remarry. She began anchoring Nikki Tonight. The show, which created a flutter when a guest called Gandhi a "bania b...", ended soon after. She went back to London to start her own production company.
