"Fresh food contains none of the chemicals present in ultra-processed food," said the report.

A report called 'Body Burder: Lifestyle Diseases' said that while samosa is dense in calorie, it doesn't use heavy amount of chemical in the form of preservatives. It is largely made up of chemical-free ingredients like refined wheat flour,boiled potatoes,spices,vegetable oil, reported the Hindustan Times.
Whereas, a burger has high on preservatives, acidity regulator and emilsifiers.
"Fresh food contains none of the chemicals present in ultra-processed food," said the report.
Earlier this month, a TOI survey had said that nearly two out of every 10 students in private schools are either overweight or obese and the main reason was 'unhealthy eating habits.'
The report that talked largely linked environement and health also stated that lifestyle diseases like obesity, mental health, cancer and heart diseases are the major killers in India.
the CSE report also stated that air pollution caused 30 percent of premature deaths in India while every third child in Delhi has impaired lungs, reported Times Now.
