‘I Want To Give Them The Best Performance’ – Stamp Fairtex Plans To Thrill U.S. Fans By Knocking Out Alyse Anderson

The Thai megastar is aiming for a memorable performance in her North American debut on May 5.

Stamp Fairtex is relishing the opportunity to put on a show for the American audience at ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III on Prime Video.

The Thai superstar defends her #1 spot in the atomweight MMA rankings against home favorite Alyse Anderson live in U.S. primetime on Friday, May 5. Stamp also knows that an exciting victory at the sold-out 1stBank Center in Colorado will help her to attract an even wider Western fan base.

“Lil’ Savage” is a tough foil for Stamp and believes she will have an advantage on the ground. However, the former ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion isn’t fazed by that claim. In fact, she accepts it.

Stamp said:

“I will not argue with her about this. She is right because I’m a striker. But don’t forget that in every fight, we have to stand first before hitting the ground.

“I’m not someone who lets people take me down, throw, or knock me down easily. At least they have to eat a few shots before they can take me down to the ground. And I don’t think Alyse can take many of them.”

Anderson’s submission game is potent. She proved that much when she sank in a first-round triangle choke on Asha Roka last year. However, it’s not a new threat to the Fairtex athlete.

As a decorated practitioner of the stand-up arts, her opponents always want to take her to the canvas. So, she is constantly working to become as well-rounded as possible for her MMA contests.

She said:

“I believe my striking is far better than hers. But I might be disadvantaged in the ground game.

“I think my ground game has improved a lot. For this upcoming fight, I went training with my former coach, DJ Jackson, who hasn’t seen me for years. He said that he was surprised by my progress. I believe that I have improved through my consistent practice. “

Stamp Fairtex Welcomes A ‘Toe-To-Toe’ Battle With Alyse Anderson

While much of the focus has been on Stamp Fairtex’s striking against Alyse Anderson’s grappling, they will fight under mixed martial arts rules. That said, they have to be prepared for every eventuality.

Anderson has worked hard on her stand-up skills in her preparation at American Top Team and feels confident that she can match the Muay Thai stylist on the feet.

As for Stamp, she won’t underestimate “Lil’ Savage” in any area. But she would welcome a few gritty striking exchanges if the American wants to slug it out in the center of the Circle.

Stamp said:

“I won’t be shy about going toe-to-toe with her either. If we can trade, we trade. I got a chance to watch her two fights in ONE. I think her striking is still not on par with mine. But I will not be careless. She might have improved her striking to handle me.”

Anderson’s willingness to engage on the feet could lead to an incredible battle for the fans at 1stBank Center, as well as for those watching from around the world live on Prime Video.

It would also increase Stamp’s chances of achieving her number-one goal, which is to leave Colorado with a memorable finish that will deliver a lasting impression among the American fans in her U.S. debut.

She said:

“I want to beat her by knockout because I’m addicted to the cheering noise from the audience when I hurt someone.

“This is also my debut fight in the USA. I want to give them the best performance I can. And if I win, it will be more proof that I am one of the world’s top MMA fighters.”
