‘Never Count Him Out’ – Liam Harrison Anticipates Another Win For Regian Eersel At ONE Fight Night 11

"Hitman" believes the Dutch-Surinamese striker will bag his 22nd consecutive victory on June 9.

Despite spending decades competing in Muay Thai at the elite level, Liam “Hitman” Harrison has never lost his enthusiasm as a fan.

That’s why the British striking icon can’t wait for ONE Fight Night 11: Eersel vs. Menshikov on Prime Video. The star-studded card will offer a slew of exciting battles at the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on Friday, June 9.

There’s one man in particular who “Hitman” is looking forward to watching when the event airs live in U.S. primetime from Bangkok, Thailand — ONE Lightweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion Regian “The Immortal” Eersel.

“The Immortal” tops the bill when he makes the second defense of his Muay Thai gold, this time against Dmitry Menshikov. Harrison, who’s going to keep a keen eye on the bout, isn’t betting against the Dutch-Surinamese star who is currently riding a mind-blowing 21-fight winning streak.

The Leeds native said:

“Eersel is my favorite fighter at [lightweight]. I’d never go against him. He proved against Sinsamut [Klinmee] to never count him out, as he was three rounds down and still found a way to win with the killer body shot.”

One of Eersel’s former foes is also in action that night and looking to get back on the winning track to move toward ONE gold.

Nieky “The Natural” Holzken lost to “The Immortal” twice for the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title, but the Dutch veteran still believes he’s capable of taking the crown

“The Natural” takes on Arian Sadikovic – another man who came up short against Eersel, albeit narrowly – and Harrison would like to see Holzken get the win and cement his position as a top contender again.

He said:

“I don’t know much about Holzken’s opponent to be honest, but I hope Nieky puts in a big performance and gets himself back among the top names in the division.”

Liam Harrison Keen To See How Superbon Bounces Back

Another epic kickboxing battle is set to take place at ONE Fight Night 11. Former ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn returns to face #5-ranked contender Tayfun “Turbine” Ozcan.

The Thai icon was in fine form with a trio of wins over Sitthichai “Killer Kid” Sitsongpeenong, Giorgio Petrosyan, and Marat Grigorian, but he got caught in the headlights of a marauding Chingiz “Chinga” Allazov back in January.

“Chinga” punished Superbon in round one before securing a dominant finish in the second frame of their World Title encounter at ONE Fight Night 6. Although “Hitman” knows the former king has the skills, he’s eager to see how he reacts mentally from the shocking loss of his belt in his last appearance.

Harrison said:

“I love watching Superbon fight, but I think this fight all depends on how well he bounces back from that horrendous KO by Allazov.

“Knockouts like that can put a few miles on the clock, so hopefully he can bounce back. He was looking great his last few fights before that.”
