3 Bouts That Could Steal The Show At ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian

Before the World Title main events, these matchups should produce fireworks on Friday in U.S. primetime.

Topped by a pair of intriguing World Title contests, ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov vs. Grigorian on Prime Video has all the makings of an unforgettable classic.

Naturally, fans around the globe are salivating over the main event clash between featherweight kickboxing kingpin Chingiz Allazov and challenger Marat Grigorian, as well as the co-main event between Mikey Musumeci and Jarred Brooks for the flyweight submission grappling gold.

But beyond those headlining fights, fans have plenty of reasons to tune in once the action gets underway live in North American primetime this Friday, August 4.

Here are three incredible matchups that could ultimately steal the show at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tawanchai Vs. Davit Kiria

Already considered one of the top pound-for-pound strikers on the planet, reigning ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai will make his highly anticipated ONE kickboxing debut – and perhaps begin his climb toward two-sport glory.

But standing in his way is accomplished Georgian striker Davit Kiria. Although he’s come up short against elite competition in ONE so far, the former Glory Kickboxing World Champion owns the power and high-level experience to upset the Thai in enemy territory.

Moreover, the in-ring action promises fireworks. Tawanchai is a hard-hitting, absurdly skilled knockout artist, while Kiria is a forward-marching scrapper who’s always happy to trade blows with ruthless intent.

John Lineker Vs. Kim Jae Woong

Former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion and current #1 contender John “Hands of Stone” Lineker will fight for the first time since losing a World Title contest to Fabricio Andrade.

Over the course of his 45-fight professional MMA career, Lineker has proven time and time again to be one of the world’s most entertaining, all-action brawlers.

This Friday, he’ll test his power-punching, ultra-aggressive style against the deep skill set and natural finishing instincts of South Korean phenom Kim Jae Woong.

Formerly ranked in the top five at featherweight and the owner of four thrilling knockouts in ONE, the 30-year-old from Seoul will be looking to make a statement in this high-stakes matchup against a longtime divisional powerhouse.

Marcus Almeida Vs. Oumar Kane

A finish is all but guaranteed when behemoth heavyweights Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida and “Reug Reug” Oumar Kane lock horns in a pivotal contest that fans have been waiting for.

Since joining ONE and transitioning to MMA, “Buchecha” has lived up to the hype expected of a legendary 17-time BJJ World Champion, finishing all four of his opponents inside the first round.

With another decisive win, the Brazilian could find himself challenging for the ONE Heavyweight MMA World Title in the near future.

However, “Reug Reug” will certainly have something to say about that. One of the most physically imposing athletes in any division, the Senegalese wrestling star is a terrifying marauder who’s capable of winning the fight on the feet or canvas.

And to make matters even scarier for his opponents, Kane has recently shown an improved gas tank and a more nuanced approach to game planning. In this long-awaited matchup, he’ll aim to stop “Buchecha’s” ascent and make his own World Title case.
