5 Reasons To Watch ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp Vs. Ham on Prime Video On September 29

The blockbuster U.S. primetime card this Friday features a trio of Women's ONE World Title fights and much more.

This Friday, September 29, ONE Championship will return to the Singapore Indoor Stadium for a blockbuster fight card topped by three high-stakes World Title fights in three different combat sports.

With 10 bouts total, ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham on Prime Video offers intriguing matchups from start to finish, and it will air live in North American primetime on ONE’s global platforms.

Before the action gets underway, let’s dive into five reasons why ONE Fight Night 14 is a can’t-miss event.

#1 A Trio Of Women’s World Title Fights

Women warriors will take center stage, as three ONE World Titles will be up for grabs featuring the planet’s top competitors in their respective disciplines.

In the main event, former ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Champion Stamp Fairtex will shoot for unprecedented three-sport glory when she takes on South Korean star Ham Seo Hee for the ONE Interim Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title.

Next, reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues will move up in weight to challenge teenage prodigy Smilla “The Hurricane” Sundell for the ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title in a showdown of elite female strikers.

And finally, Danielle Kelly – undefeated in three ONE submission grappling battles – hopes to give a rude welcome to 2023 IBJJF World Champion Jessa Khan.

Widely regarded as two of the most talented Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts on the planet, these potent submission specialists will rematch for the inaugural ONE Women’s Atomweight Submission Grappling World Title.

#2 Angela Lee Will Reveal Her Future Plans

“Unstoppable” Angela Lee is the first and only athlete to ever hold the ONE Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title, successfully defending her gold five times since becoming the inaugural World Champion.

But ever since the tragic passing of her younger sister and fellow ONE athlete, Victoria Lee, last December, the Singaporean-American superstar has been on the sidelines as she and her family mourn the unexpected loss.

Before Stamp and Ham duke it out for the division’s interim gold, “Unstoppable” will update fans on her plans for the future – whether she intends to retire from competition, take more time away from the sport, or take on whoever wins the ONE Fight Night 14 main event.

#3 A First-Of-Its-Kind Special Rules Striking Contest

ONE Fight Night 14 will feature an entirely unique special rules striking clash that has fans and pundits captivated, as longtime strawweight MMA queen Xiong Jing Nan meets Muay Thai phenom Nat “Wondergirl” Jaroonsak.

The two athletes will lace up the smaller 4-ounce MMA gloves and throw down in a stand-up battle that only allows punches.

With each woman beloved for their aggressive, scrappy approach to combat, this three-round clash has all the makings of an unforgettable war – and it’s something never seen in the world of combat sports.

#4 The Next Bantamweight MMA World Title Challenger Could Emerge

It won’t just be women battling in high-stakes matchups.

Lower on the card, former ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion John “Hands of Stone” Lineker will square off with Filipino rising star Stephen “The Sniper” Loman in a pivotal showdown with fireworks written all over it.

While current bantamweight MMA kingpin Fabricio Andrade is aiming for two-sport glory and kickboxing gold in November at ONE Fight Night 16 on Prime Video, #1-ranked Lineker and #2-ranked Loman could secure a crack at Andrade’s MMA belt with a victory here.

What’s more, this matchup is a stylistic dream for fans.

“Hands of Stone” is one of the most entertaining brawlers in the sport, while Loman, with his prodigious athleticism and all-around skill, can bring the fight to Lineker in any area and owns an impressive 11-bout winning streak.

#5 A Rematch Five Years In The Making

In 2018, then-reigning ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Eduard Folayang successfully defended his gold against Singaporean star Amir Khan in one of the year’s most thrilling wars.

Now, as both men have firmly established themselves as grizzled veterans and feared knockout artists, they will go toe-to-toe yet again.

With an incredible 55 combined fights in ONE Championship between them, they’ve each garnered countless adoring fans who are in for a treat when Folayang and Khan run it back on Friday.
