Thanks to fifties from Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, India romped home to a 10-wicket win over Nepal and also ensured a Super Four berth on Monday. Amidst so many rain interruptions, Nepal posted a defiant 230 after put into bat first. However, due to rain-gods intervening, the score was revised due to DLS calculations as India required a revised target of 145 from 23 overs. Rohit (74 not out off 59 balls) and Gill (67 not out off 62 balls) ensured India did not have any hiccups as they reached the target with much ease. India finished their Group A engagements with three points, while Pakistan had already entered the Super Four having logged three points. Nepal bowed out of the Asia Cup without any points.
