Weather in the southern part of the country is usually pleasant at this time of the year but there were some speculations about rain in Kerala's capital city of Thiruvananthapuram especially near the region of Greenfield International Stadium where the 2nd T20I match is scheduled.

Weather Report:

According to AccuWeather, the morning will be pleasant and it will be mostly sunny with a passing shower in the afternoon. Precipitation may continue for half an hour and will not affect the 2nd T20I match between India and Australia as the match is scheduled in the evening and will start at 7 pm IST.

There have been rains in recent days, but the weather is anticipated to be clear on match day, with a maximum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius.

Pitch Report:

The four international matches held at the site have all been low-scoring or shortened affairs, the wickets have not been noted for high scores. The average score in the three T20Is played at the venue is 114, and teams chasing have a 2-1 advantage over those setting a target.

The Greenfield International track is recognised for its sluggishness, which provides significant help to bowlers. Batters frequently struggle to play effectively on this field, having difficulty scoring runs smoothly. Spinners take advantage of these conditions in particular, posing problems for batters. Despite historical data showing low-scoring encounters at this site, India and Australia are expected to play a high-scoring game.
