Kavem Hodge brought up his maiden Test century as he alongside Alick Athanaze led West Indies' fightback in the second Test on Day 2. By the end of day's play West indies had reduced England's lead to 65 with five wickets still in hand.
After a 53-run opening partnership between skipper Kraigg Braithwaite and Mikyle Louis, West Indies soon found themselves in trouble at 84/3. Athanaze was then joined by Hodge and the duo put a fantastic partnership of 175 runs to bring West Indies in front. Athanaze was dismissed on 89 while Hodge went on to score 120 before losing his wicket.
At stumps, Jason Holder and Joshua de Silva had put up an unbeaten 46-run partnership.
England had been bowled out for 416 on Day 1.
