Chasing a modest 107-run target, New Zealand reached the goal in just 28 overs during the first session. Earlier, India struggled on a pitch covered for three days, posting their lowest home total in Test cricket, 46 runs. Although Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Devon Conway early, Rachin Ravindra came in with aggressive intent, hitting two boundaries off Bumrah in his first three balls. The action now shifts to Pune, where the second Test begins on Thursday, 24th October.
