India (Playing XI): Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma(c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant(w), Sarfaraz Khan, Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj
New Zealand (Playing XI): Tom Latham(c), Devon Conway, Will Young, Rachin Ravindra, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Blundell(w), Glenn Phillips, Ish Sodhi, Matt Henry, Ajaz Patel, William O'Rourke
With figures of 9 for 117, Ravindra Jadeja has delivered his best match performance against New Zealand in Tests, surpassing his previous best of 6 for 131 in Kanpur in 2016.
The highest successful run-chase in Test cricket at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is 163 by South Africa, back in 2000. And 24 years later, India might have to chase something similar to avoid a series whitewash. Can the Kiwis frustrate the hosts by adding a few more to their 143-run lead?
And we are underway at the Wankhede Stadium. Ravindra Jadeja with three balls left, spins square and William O'Rourke survives all three. Ajaz Patel is a pleased man. What can he come up with from the other end? Ravi Ashwin with the ball.
That's that, five in the innings, ten in the game for Jadeja. India have wrapped it up very quickly - 14 balls into the first session on Day 3 - and will now chase 147 to win the Test. They have also opted for a light roller as Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill all race back into the dressing room.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma walk out as Matt Henry has the new ball. It's going to be a tricky run chase this, however, Indian fans will want more than just a win, they will desperately want Rohit to get some runs.
Jaiswal gets India off the mark, and Rohit is up and running with an outrageous shot.
Rohit Sharma, looking to get out of jail, plays a very rash shot and will have to make the walk back. Matt Henry is pumped and so are New Zealand. The visitors have hope, can they build on it? A few quick wickets and you just never know.
That was a little too tight to leave, and it hits the top of off. Shubman Gill walks back for one. India are in a bit of trouble with still 130 runs to get. New Zealand look hungry, while Virat Kohli looks to soak up all the pressure.
India are in absolute tatters. Kohli makes his way now. Rohit, Gill and now Kohli. The former Indian skipper is not a happy man, and in comes Rishabh Pant. He was the one who helped India to safe shores in the first innings. Can he do it all over again, while Ajaz Patel is on a roll in Mumbai.
This time it is Yashasvi Jaiswal who walks back, and India in all sorts of trouble at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The hosts have lost four major wickets in seven overs. Sarfaraz Khan walks in and joins Rishabh Pant.
Well, he's off now. The local boy avoided a pair, but he goes for one. It's all going the visitors' way at the moment.
Rishabh Pant being Rishabh Pant, look to power India out of this hole. He's watching it all from the other end, but talk about confidence to sweep it from the rough. India need exactly 100 to win, but the wicket column is the worrying part, with five wickets in hand.
Well, well, well.. if New Zealand fail to win this Test, they will surely look back at this moment. An half appeal and Latham thought Pant hit it. The hawk-eye, however, shows all three reds. It's all happening. Could it be costly? Only time will tell.
This game is now open, but only just. The Pant-Jadeja partnership has calmed a lot of Indian nerves, and has also brought India back into the game. The whole nation will want this partnership to continue. It's a one-man show at the moment as Pant is continuing to pull India out of the hole.
India will take anything they get at the moment, with Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar, but on the other end of the wicket, there's a bit of history for a left-arm spinner.
Most wickets by a visiting bowler at a venue in India
23 - Ajaz Patel at Wankhede
22 - Ian Botham at Wankhede
18 - Richie Benaud at Eden Gardens
17 - Courtney Walsh at Wankhede
That is lunch on Day 3 at the Wankhede Stadium and Rishabh Rajendra Pant has just breathed live back into the Indian innings. Surely, a knock that should be in a museum in Mumbai. India need 55 runs to win, while the visitors need four wickets. It can still go either way.
And we are back! What a Test match this has been. And during the Lunch break, some have had lunch, some were seated biting their nails. Sit back and enjoy, folks, It might not be long, but this is going to be fun.
What a moment in this Test match. Rishabh Pant takes the slow walk back, and New Zealand believe again. This game is far from over. Ajaz Patel has five, and this is one of the slowest walk back to the pavilion we will see. India still need 41, while the Kiwis need three wickets.

There's drama in every ball, and the contest is getting interesting by the minute. Washington Sundar and Ravichandran Ashwin are more than capable and have showed their solidity so far. India need 29 more, with New Zealand needing three more wickets. Well, don't ever rule out a tie.
Phillips right on the money, and 26 runs looks a long way away. India look clueless and the Wankhede is speechless. Pin drop silence. New Zealand are just a wicket away from a historic whitewash. However, can they get over the line?
And it's over. A complete team performance from New Zealand. What a month it has been. The Kiwis have whitewashed India at home. Yes, you are reading it right. The Kiwis have whitewashed India at home. A magical performance in Mumbai, and a 25-run defeat for India.
This is also the first time India have been whitewashed in a Test series on home soil since South Africa’s 2-0 victory in the 1999-2000 series, and the first-ever 3-0 series sweep. This will do a world of good for cricket in New Zealand.
"Seriously special to win a Test match at such a historic ground and also the series. Pretty special against a World Class Indian team. We knew the surface is turning pretty big so we wanted to put pressure on the bowlers and with the ball put it in the right areas. We are a bunch on Kiwis taking on the world and representing the country. We know how good India are. Mighty proud of the group today."

"Yeah, absolutely, you know, losing a series, losing a Test is never easy, not easily digestible. Again, we didn't play our best cricket, we know and we accept. They did so much better than us. We made a lot of mistakes and we'll have to accept it. We didn't put enough runs on the board in the 1st innings and we were behind in the game, here, we got a 30-run lead, we thought we were ahead, the target was achievable, we had to do better though."
He added, "You want runs on the board as well, that's something that was there in my mind, it didn't come off and when it happens, it doesn't look great. There are certain ideas on my mind when I go to bat, but in this series, it didn't come off and that's disappointing for me.
"Those guys showed how to bat on these surfaces, you've got to be ahead and be proactive, we are playing on such pitches in the last 3-4 years, we know how to play. But this series, it didn't come off and that's going to hurt. Also, I wasn't at my best with both bat and as a captain, that's something that'll rankle me. But, we didn't perform well collectively and that's the reason for these losses."
"Spin bowling is about rhythm. When the conditions present themselves, you got to take it by the horns. (Spell after lunch on day two) I felt confident in the morning session as well. The period after lunch, it turned a lot more and it helped me. I tried to keep it simple and be ahead of the batters. (On his battle against Pant) He's batted phenomenally and he put us under pressure. Had to think out of the box and come up with a different plan."
"Very ecstatic. The boys have done a fantastic job over the last three Test matches. We are pretty happy. Just being able to adapt to each grounds, the seamers did a great job in Bangalore. Guys chipped in at different times. Ajaz loves bowling here in Mumbai. An all-round team performance. We just want to keep it simple here.
"Tried to be more proactive. We just tried to do our best and guys chipped in and very happy to stand at this position. We didn't play that bad over there (in Sri Lanka). We came here, we bowled really well this morning. Girls winning the World Cup was fantastic. To be in this position, we could have only dreamt."
And that's the series! Thank you so much for joining us, and we will see you soon. Until next time, take care and goodbye.
