Mumbai Indians join the fray and the price is now INR 4 Cr.
And, Mumbai grab him at INR 4.80 crore.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman, the Afghan spinner, kicks off the spin bowlers' category. However, with no bids at a base price of INR 2 crore, he goes unsold.
At a base price of INR 2 crore, Lockie Ferguson joins the Punjab Kings with no other bids. RCB had the RTM option but chose not to use it.
Deepak Chahar sold to Mumbai Indians for INR 9.25 crore
MI and PBKS led the early bidding for Chahar, starting at his base price of INR 2 crore. As the price crossed INR 8 crore, PBKS pulled out, but CSK briefly entered the fray. MI, however, closed the deal at INR 9.25 crore.
Mukesh Kumar sold to DC for INR 8 crore
It was quite a fierce bidding war! Starting at INR 2 crore, CSK and PBKS battled it out, with the price quickly soaring. DC used their RTM to retain the player after PBKS pushed the bid to INR 8 crore. A hard-fought win for DC!
Bhuvneshwar Kumar – The one everyone expected to ignite a bidding war, and he sure did!
With a base price of INR 2 crore, MI made the first move, but LSG quickly joined in at INR 2.20 crore. The bids escalated rapidly, with the price now crossing INR 9 crore. LSG is currently leading the battle with a bid of INR 10 crore. Mumbai Out!
RCB join the battle - And, they GRABBED HIM for 12 Crores!
Tushar Deshpande SOLD To RR at INR 6 Cr.
At INR 1 crore base price, CSK opened the bidding, with RR quickly joining the battle.
The price has now surged to INR 2.60 crore.

The bidding started at INR 1.50 crore with CSK showing interest, but RR and RCB quickly joined the battle. After intense moments, RR outbid RCB to secure Rana at INR 4.20 crore.
Krunal Pandya Sold To RCB For INR 5.75 crore
Krunal Pandya was on the verge of going unsold but found new interest as RCB opened the bidding. With a base price of INR 2 crore, RCB made the first move, and RR quickly followed with a bid of INR 2.20 crore.
The two teams continued to push the price up, with RR leading at INR 3 crore.
The bidding escalated, and the price now stands at INR 4 crore as both teams vie for the all-rounder.
Marco Jansen SOLD to PBKS for INR 7 crore!
The bidding for Jansen began at INR 1.25 crore, with MI making the opening move. PBKS quickly entered at INR 1.30 crore, sparking a fierce bidding war. GT joined in at INR 2.80 crore, driving the price up past INR 5 crore as they clashed with PBKS. The intense battle continued, with PBKS taking the lead at INR 5.50 crore and eventually INR 6 crore. GT made one last push but bowed out at INR 7 crore, allowing PBKS to secure Jansen in a high-stakes tussle.
Sam Curran is heading to Chennai Super Kings for INR 2.40 crore.
With a base price of INR 2 crore, CSK initiated the bidding, followed by LSG raising it to INR 2.20 crore. CSK countered with INR 2.40 crore, and LSG opted to bow out. PBKS had the RTM option but chose not to use it, allowing CSK to secure the England player.
Washington Sundar finds a new home with Gujarat Titans for INR 3.20 crore.
Starting with a base price of INR 2 crore, GT made the opening bid, quickly followed by LSG raising it to INR 2.20 crore.

Faf who was the captain of RCB in 2024 IPL season did not make a buzz. With a base price of INR 2 crore, DC make a late move for Faf just as it seemed he might go unsold. With no further bids, DC secure the player. RCB had the RTM option but chose not to use it.
With a base price of INR 1.50 crore, KKR step in with the opening bid. With no competition from other teams, they comfortably secure Rovman Powel.

Just as the name suggests, the Accelerated Auction means a faster pace in action on Day 2. After the big names are sorted, the 10 IPL teams will be asked to select 25 players of their choice. With around five times the number of players being auctioned compared to Day 1, the speed will be much higher. Teams may also need to prepare a second list for any unsold players or those not initially included in the auction. It’s going to be a fast-paced, high-energy day!
At first, Set number 13 will go under the hammer, bringing capped batters up for the auction.
Next, the spotlight will shift to the all-rounders (AL2), wicketkeepers (WK2), fast bowlers (FA2), and spinners (SP2).
Following this, an accelerated auction will take place for players numbered 117 to 577.
