Abdullah Shafique edges closer to his fifty with a well-timed boundary, while Fakhar Zaman rotates strike smoothly at the other end after his milestone. No risks taken, just smart batting with singles and a boundary to keep the scoreboard moving. The partnership looks solid and firmly in charge.

A tight over from Moeen Ali, who strikes at a crucial moment to remove Charith Asalanka for a duck. The wicket halts the momentum just as the batting side looked to accelerate in the death overs. Apart from the breakthrough, it’s all singles, with no boundaries on offer.

An eventful over with momentum swinging both ways. The big moment comes as Abdullah Shafique is cleaned up by a pinpoint yorker, ending a well-made knock just when acceleration was expected. Before that, a crucial six keeps the scoring rate healthy, while Sikandar Raza continues to play positively. Despite the setback, the batting side still manages a productive over, but losing a set batter at this stage could impact the final push.

A dramatic over packed with runs and a twist. Daniel Sams’ quick cameo ends in a run-out, but the momentum stays with the batting side. Sikandar Raza keeps things ticking before Shaheen Afridi arrives and finishes the over in style, smashing a massive six. Extras don’t help the bowler either, and despite the wicket, it’s a big over that pushes the total close to the 200-mark heading into the final over.

A decent final over to close the innings. A few handy runs come early, including a boundary, but Hasan Ali finishes strongly by removing Shaheen Afridi on the last ball. Afridi’s late cameo added valuable runs, while Sikandar Raza stays unbeaten. The batting side finishes just under the 200-mark, setting up a competitive total for the chase.

Ubaid Shah draws the first blood! Jason Roy made a blistering start to the over, hitting the medium pacer for back-to-back boundaries. However, Ubaid changes his length and bowls a short one, getting a top edge off Roy which is gathered easily by Haseebullah.

Ubaid gets his second of the night, and it's the dangerous Reeza Hendricks who has to go. Another short ball does the trick, with the ball hitting the top of the bat and going straight into the hands of Abdullah Shafique at cover.

Salman Ali Agha and David Warner have started firing at the end of the powerplay, with the pair hitting five boundaries in the last three overs to take Karachi's run rate to just under nine-an-over. They still need 132 runs off 72 balls.

Just as the partnership was looking like it was settling down, Haris Rauf breaks it by dismissing Salman Agha. The short balls are working wonders on this pitch, and Salman mistimes his pull shot. Abdullah Shafique at cover takes a simple catch.

A big over swings the momentum back! Moeen Ali takes charge with two towering sixes, putting the bowlers under serious pressure. Warner rotates strike smartly, while Moeen’s aggressive intent lifts the scoring rate significantly. A much-needed over for the batting side as they cross the 100 mark and look to rebuild strongly.

A mixed over with runs and a key breakthrough. David Warner brings up his fifty and continues to find boundaries, keeping the scoreboard ticking. However, Daniel Sams strikes in between to remove Azam Khan, halting some momentum. Extras and a late boundary ensure the over still yields good runs, with Warner anchoring the innings while Khushdil Shah settles in at the other end.

Game-changing over! Khushdil Shah goes berserk and takes Shaheen Afridi apart with a brutal display of power-hitting. Three massive sixes and a boundary completely swing the contest, turning a tight chase into a near-formality. Warner plays the supporting role, but this over is all about Khushdil’s clean striking. 23 runs off it and the equation now firmly in control of the batting side.

Khushdil Shah finishes it in style. A low full toss and he absolutely smokes it over wide long-on, clean, fearless hitting under pressure. What a knock, 44 off just 14 balls! He’s pulled Karachi back from the brink and sealed a crucial win. Warner applauds from the other end, and rightly so, this has been a match-winning blitz of the highest quality.

Chasing 200, they looked under pressure at the halfway mark, but Moeen Ali’s quickfire knock shifted momentum. Azam Khan added crucial late blows, before Khushdil Shah took over in the death overs with a stunning display of power-hitting, dismantling Shaheen Afridi. While David Warner anchored the chase, it was the late surge from the middle order that sealed the win comfortably, keeping the playoff race wide open.
