Pakistan beat Nepal in match 6 of the ongoing tournament and with this victory, Pakistan have kept themselves alive in the race for the semi-finals. Samjhana Khadka and Sita Rana Magar opened the batting for Nepal women. Fatima Sana came to bowl the first over for Pakistan. She started with three dot balls then Khadka hit a boundary. Sana dismissed her on the next bowl to provide the first breakthrough for her team.

After taking a wicket in her first over, Fatima Sana came to bowl the third over and Kabita Kunwar hit her for a couple of boundaries to collect nine runs from the over.

Omaima Sohail was introduced into the attack in the 4th over and she leaked 11 runs. Kabita Kunwar and Sita Rana Magar hit a boundary each to give a brilliant start to Nepal's innings.

Sadia Iqbal came to bowl her second over and got rid of the set batter Kabita Kunwar first then Nepal skipper Indu Barma in the same over. Nepal are tottering with three wickets down in the powerplay.

After a double blow from Sadia Iqbal, Omaima Sohail was called back into the attack and she bowled a maiden over. Nashra Sandhu came to bowl the next over and she finished her over with just two runs that.

After giving just two runs in her first over, Syeda Aroob Shah was called again into the attack and she managed to provide the wicket of Rubina Chhetry. Puja Mahato is the new batter at the crease.

Sita Rana Magar and Puja Mahato are at the crease but they are not even trying to go run-a-ball. A slow run rate might affect them later in the match. With seven overs yet to be bowled, both batters need to take their chances against the Pakistan bowling line-up.

Kabita Kunwar opened the bowling attack as Pakistan openers Muneeba Ali and Gull Feroza started the batting. Feroza took the strike and hit the first ball for a boundary. Five runs from wide delivery came in handy for Pakistan.

Nepal skipper Indu Barma came to bowl the fifth over and she conceded six runs including a boundary. Pakistan women are off to a flying start.

Muneeba Ali targeted Sita Rana Magar in her first over and hit three boundaries to collect 13 runs from the over. Gull Feroza smashed another four in the next over. She hit Kabita Joshi for a couple more fours in the 8th over.

Full Feroza completed her half-century in the 10th over. She and Muneeba Ali hit a boundary each in the over to collect 13 runs from the over. Pakistan women need 17 more runs to win the match.

Nepal captain Indu Barma came to bowl the 11th over and she leaked 12 runs from her second over. Now, Pakistan need just five more runs to win this match.

Kabita Joshi came to bowl the 12th over and dismissed the half-centurion Gull Feroza. But Muneeba Ali finished the game with a boundary on the fifth delivery of the same over to win the match by nine wickets.

Lots of positives. We batted and bowled well and we should take this win forward. [The support staff] They always try to help us. With the new management, we have a new connection. They have helped us a lot. They are keenly working on fielding, batting and bowling. [On Gull Feroza's knock] A perfect combination of Muneeba and Feroza at the top. A lot of positives because they took the momentum forward.
It is a memorable day for me and I am very happy that I could help my team win. I wanted to play my natural game. This game has become so aggressive and that is my natural game. The cover drive was my favourite. Want to dedicate this award to my family.
We tried our best to play good cricket. Pakistan is a very good team, but we could not execute our plans. It is our learning time. [Run outs the difference] Definitely, because two of our players could make more runs. And that was the turning point. [On Puja Mahato and Kabita Joshi] I am very happy because they are the young players.
With this win, Pakistan have kept their semi-final hopes alive. Now, both teams - Nepal and Pakistan have two points each in two matches and must win their next matches against India and UAE respectively on Tuesday to qualify for the semis. India already have four points in two matches.
