Chasing just 116 to win, Nepal opener Samjhana Khadka kept her team in the right zone from the beginning. Despite no other batter contributing more than 10 runs, Khadka's 45-ball unbeaten 72 led Nepal to the target on the first ball of the 17th over. This becomes Nepal's first win in Women's Asia Cup.
Earlier, Nepal's Indu Burma won the all-important toss and opted to bowl first in Dambulla. Skipper herself starred with the ball taking three wickets for just 19 runs. UAE's Khushi Sharma top score with 36 and helped the gulf nation put up 115/8 on the board.
