Bangladesh were 26 for six in the first innings at one point and now they have won the Test match. As incredible as it gets. Litton Das struck one of the finest hundreds by a Bangladeshi batter and his partnership with the half-centurion Mehidy Hasan Miraz cut Pakistan's first innings lead to just 12.
Bangladesh pacers then took all the 10 Pakistan wickets in the second innings and the target in front of them was just 185. Everybody contributed their bit and in the end the two veterans Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim guided Bangladesh to a historic series win.
In the opening game, Bangladesh had scripted history by notching up their first-ever Test win over Pakistan in the first game at the same venue. The visitors had cantered to a measly target of 30 runs with all 10 wickets intact, after spinners Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Shakib Al Hasan led the demolition job to bowl the home team out for 146 runs in the third innings.
A victory today will hand Bangladesh an unprecedented Test series win, and a clean sweep away from home at that.
