Full outside off, shaping away just enough to invite the drive, and Khan just can’t resist it. Reaches out, plays away from his body, and there it is, a faint nick straight through to Josh Philippe behind the stumps. Safe as you like.

Philippe pouches it clean, Randhawa is all smiles, and the fielders are right in his ear now. Early breakthrough, early pressure, Shahzaib Khan walks back for 0 off 4, and this game has just been jolted awake.

Yasir Khan, right handed bat, comes to the crease.

Arafat Minhas tosses it up, and boom, that’s disappeared.

Mohammad Rizwan has finally found the middle of the bat, and he’s absolutely launched it. Drifts it outside off, gives it a bit of air, and Rizwan goes down on one knee with a clean slog sweep. No doubt about it, it sails high and long over deep mid-wicket.

That’s a massive six, and you can feel the release in the crowd too. Much needed for the Pindiz, and just his second maximum of the season. He’ll take that deep breath, and move on.

Mohammad Nawaz drops it in at 88.4kph, just a hint of spin there, but Mitchell stays totally composed.

Mohammad Wasim Jr. offers width and pays the price instantly!

Back of a length, but just enough room outside off, and Daryl Mitchell is in no mood to miss out. He rocks back, waits for it to arrive, and then absolutely drills the cut. Crisp, hard, and threaded perfectly through the gap to the right of a diving backward point.

No chance in the deep either. That’s raced away to the fence in a flash. Controlled aggression from Mitchell, and that one will sting Wasim Jr. a bit.

Mohammad Wasim Jr. digs it in short at 132kph and Sam Billings goes for the pull, but it climbs on him. No control on it, just a top edge that lobs up towards deep square leg. Mohammad Imran Randhawa settles under it and takes a clean catch.

Rawalpindiz posted 166 after opting to bat, but it was a shaky start as Shahzaib Khan fell for a duck and Yasir Khan followed soon after. Rizwan and Daryl Mitchell rebuilt with a fifty stand, though Rizwan never looked fluent and was dismissed after reaching 25 for only the second time this season.

Mitchell then added another fifty partnership with Sam Billings before Billings was bounced out by Mohammad Wasim Jr. A late burst from Forrester, smashing 37* off just 15 balls, lifted Rawalpindiz to a competitive total, with 42 runs coming in the final three overs. Now the question, is it enough against an in-form Multan attack?

Chase is on, and the stage is set!

Sahibzada Farhan and Steven Smith walk out to the middle with 167 needed. Farhan takes strike, looking to set the tone early, while Mohammad Amir has the new ball in hand, all eyes on this first over. Big chase, big pressure, and we’re underway.

WICKET! Oh, that’s a huge moment in the chase.

Asif Afridi strikes, and Sahibzada Farhan is gone! This one skids through quicker than expected, straight on to off stump. Farhan rocks back looking to pull, but he’s rushed completely, the timing’s off, the bottom edge crashes back onto the leg stump. Clean bowled.

He was looking the danger man too, already into his rhythm with four boundaries, but it all falls apart on 20 off 17. Rawalpindiz get the breakthrough they desperately needed, and this chase has just been shaken up early.

Ben Sears goes short on the free hit, and he’s been punished.

Josh Philippe isn’t missing out on this one. Rocks back, waits for the length, and then absolutely nails the pull. Clean strike, right off the middle, and it rockets into the gap at deep mid-wicket. No fielder there, just pure timing and power doing the rest.

That’s raced away to the fence in a hurry, free-hit, full punishment.

Saad Masood slips in a beauty, and he’s almost had Steve Smith there.

A well-disguised googly, tossed up full just outside off, and Smith leans forward looking to drive. But he hasn’t picked it at all. The ball grips and turns just enough to beat the outside edge. It sneaks past the bat, teasing for a moment, before they settle for a single. That’s a real warning sign from Masood.

Saad Masood strikes and Steven Smith is gone! A flat length delivery outside off, Smith goes for that signature square drive, leaning back and trying to carve it away. But he doesn’t get it clean at all, just a faint bottom edge.

And Sam Billings reacts in a flash behind the stumps, taking it cleanly. No hesitation, no second chance.

Smith walks back after a blazing 56 off 31, packed with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Massive blow in the chase, and Rawalpindiz are right back in this game.

Saad Masood tosses it up, and Ashton Turner just clears the ropes.

Right into the slot at deep mid-wicket, and Turner doesn’t even think twice. He gets down, swings through the line, and absolutely launches it. Clean connection, pure power, and it sails comfortably over the boundary.

That’s a massive hit, no doubt about it. Turner makes it look easy, and the pressure valve just gets a big twist open.

Shan Masood and Ashton Turner are cruising towards the target with a solid partnership. Rawalpindiz are close to yet another defeat and their winless streak will continue. Turner picked a big over from Mohammed Amir and that kind of released all the pressure that the duo had before. Sultans are now in touching distance of the win.
