Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame, more than five-and-a-half years after he retired from international cricket. The seemingly delay in inducting Tendulkar, who has 100 international centuries to his credit, into the fold happened as the rules say that a player should have played his last international match at least five years before his induction. He is the sixth Indian to get this honour.
