The Windies were in complete control throughout the match. Their pacers made a strong start, and the spinners consistently struck at crucial moments to disrupt England's innings. The visitors managed to post a total of 209 runs, but rain delays led to the target being reduced under the DLS method.

In West Indies' batting performance, Evin Lewis was the standout player, coming close to a century as he scored 94 runs off 69 balls, hitting 5 fours and 8 sixes. He was eventually caught by Jacob Bethell off the bowling of Adil Rashid.

Lewis and his teammates made sure the chase was smooth, with only a couple of rain interruptions causing minor delays.
