The Women's T20 World Cup fixture will commence at 7:30pm IST, with the toss scheduled for 7pm IST. The match will be broadcast on the Star Sports Network in India, and will be live-streamed on the Disney+Hotstar app and website in India. This will be the first T20I meeting between the two teams.

Scotland captain Kathryn Bryce has won the toss and opted to bat first against West Indies.

West Indies have dealt a couple of early blows to Scotland. Both their openers are dismissed inside the first three overs, as the Windies are bossing the powerplay. First, captain Hayley Matthews has Saskia Horley caught at midwicket in the second over. Chinelle Henry then uproots Sarah Bryce's off stump. Runs are down to a trickle too as the Scots look to rebuild.
Even though Scotland have not lost any wickets in the last seven overs, their run rate is still a huge area of concern. Scoring at 4.5 an over will not hold them in good stead in a T20I, and that's where the Scots stand at the halfway stage of their innings. Afy Fletcher strikes twice in two balls to unsettle Scotland again. She has Ailsa Lister caught at deep midwicket and then traps Priyanaz Chatterji bang in front in the 13th over to leave the Scots four down with the run rate still under five an over. To compound their woes, Fletcher returns in her fourth and final over to send back the well-set Scottish skipper Kathryn Bryce. The Windies are looking to restrict them to a sub-110 total here.
Some tight bowling and a bunch of wickets in the last few overs mean West Indies have kept Scotland down to a two-digit total. The Scot innings never really took off, and Kathryn Bryce and Ailsa Lister were the only two batters to cross the 20-run mark. Well, well, well. What do we have here? Scotland begin with a bang with the ball, as Rachel Slater cleans up Stephanie Taylor off the fourth ball of the innings. The pitch is sluggish, and the ball keeping a tad low at times. The chase might not be as easy as it seems prima facie.
Just when the Windies looked like they were running away with the game, Scotland struck twice in successive overs to pull them back. Even though the chasing side have stayed well ahead of the asking rate, wickets is what could be their undoing. After seven overs, West Indies are at 50 for three, needing 50 more runs off 78 balls.
And there we have it. The flurry of wickets comes to nought, as the big-hitting Deandra Dottin clatters two sixes and a four off three Abtaha Maqsood deliveries to take the Windies home in just 11.4 overs. West Indies return to winning ways and keep their semi-final hopes on track with a six-wicket victory in Dubai. Scotland, on the other hand, have teetered closer to the exit door with a second consecutive loss.
Kathryn Bryce: "It was a good performance in the field. With the firepower they got, it was tricky. We have got to take half chances and opportunities. We did not get off to a good start, we did not get any momentum in the middle. Gives the youngsters a good learning curve."
Hayley Matthews: "We were able to go out as a group, restricting them to 99. Qiana Joseph was positive and Dottin finishing it off. We did pretty well with the ball, limited the boundary balls. We got ourselves in a secure position and then we thought about the net run rate, and we did it. Take it one game at a time, next we have Bangladesh, if we win that and then against England to get into the semi-finals."
