Delhi Capitals, IPL 2024 Cricket Auction: Full List Of Players Retained And Released - David Warner, Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shaw

The big news out of the Delhi Capitals camp after Indian Premier League 2024 retention day was that the hierarchy had decided to keep hold of the core members of a team that has missed out on back-to-back playoffs. Which means that David Warner and Mitchell Marsh will continue to sport the red-and-blue kits of DC, as will Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw, who have retained Delhi's trust ever since they broke onto the scene. (IND Vs AUS Blog | IPL Trading Highlights)

Furthermore, Delhi Capitals have opted to keep spinnes Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav for the Indian Premier League 2024 season; they have also decided to hold onto Indian pacers Ishant Sharma, Khaleel Ahmed, and Mukesh Kumar. South African duo Lungi Ngidi and Anrich Nortje will continue to call Delhi home for two brief months for at least another season.

Few names stand out among those Delhi Capitals have released; West Indian power-hitter Rovman Powell will have to find new dwellings for the 2024 IPL season, as will Manish Pandey, Sarfaraz Khan, and Mustafizur Rahman. Delhi, meanwhile, are left with 28.95 crores to fill what gaps remain in their squad.
