The chargesheet, which contains over 1,000 pages, states that Singh had on multiple occasions stalked, molested and harassed wrestlers at will.
The Delhi Police submitted the chargesheet before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM), charging Singh under Section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), Section 354A (making sexually-coloured remarks), and 354D (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Some of the sections under which Singh has been charged carry imprisonment of up to five years.
The chargesheet, which was filed on June 13, also states that his harassment was 'repeated and continuing'.
More than 100 witnesses had testified during the time of filing the chargesheet, which included referees, coaches and wrestlers.
On July 7, Singh was summoned by Delhi's Rose Avenue Court wherein it was observed that the judiciary had enough evidence against the WFI chief to proceed with the case. He will appear before the court on July 18.
