India A and England Lions are to lock horns in a three-match unofficial Test series, starting from Wednesday, January 17. Prior to that, the two teams will face each other in a two-day practice match scheduled for January 12 and 13 at the B ground of Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. (More Cricket News)
Ahead of the series, England Lions will have a familiar face in their coaching camp in the name of Dinesh Karthik. The wicketkeeper-batter has joined the England Lions' coaching staff for the India tour 2024.
During the nine-day tour, Karthik will assist the visitors as one of the batting consultants. Former England batter Ian Bell, who's currently in Australia as part of Melbourne Renegades's coaching staff in the Big Bash League, will link up with the squad on January 18.
