Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja stitched a 222-run stand for the sixth wicket to help India fight back from 98/5 on Day 1 of the rescheduled fifth Test against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham. At the close of play on Monday, India were 338/7 in 73 overs with Jadeja and Mohammed Shami unbeaten on 83 off 163 and 0 off 11 respectively.
