Erling Haaland Hilariously Acts As Jack Grealish's Bodyguard Post Manchester City's FIFA Club World Cup Win - Watch

Erling Haaland missed Manchester City's win over Fluminense in the FIFA Club World Cup 2023 Final with an injury. The Norwegian striker found himself another job, though, acting as Jack Grealish's bodyguard post-match! Watch here

Manchester City scored four past Fluminense to collect their fifth trophy of the year, the FIFA Club World Cup 2023. Julian Alvarez scored twice while Phil Foden netted once; Fluminense captain Nino turned the ball past his goalkeeper to compile the South American champions' misery. Jack Grealish played the full 90 minutes and was embroiled in a bust-up late on and had to be escorted through the media mixed on by his new bodyguard, Erling Haaland! (Football News)

Haaland, hilariously, guarded the England international as he passed through the glare of video cameras and eager newsmen and women waiting to catch a quick word, with the Norwegian receiving additional support from Bernardo Silva and Ruben Dias. Watch the video below:

Grealish had come under criticism from Fluminense's Felipe Melo, who accused the winger of disrespecting the Brazilian club and its fans.

"Today Grealish was disrespectful towards the Fluminense institution and I will never let that happen," said Melo.

"He was shouting "olé" at the end of the game. This is for the fans, the fans can shout "olé". The athlete on the field cannot be disrespectful towards the institution. So, for the idiots who call themselves journalists and have already said that I started trouble, I didn't start any confusion, on the contrary, I went to defend Martinelli, who was being cornered by this athlete. And I would do it again. I am a warrior."

The England international, though, refuted claims that any such incident had occurred with a social media post later.

"Not once did I say ole," tweeted Grealish.
