Experimental India completed a 3-0 clean sweep in the ODI series against West Indies in Ahmedabad on Friday. The first two ODIs have been one-sided affairs with India winning the first by six wickets and the second by 44 runs. West Indies have suffered due to poor batting in both games. The third game was nothing different. Opting to bat first, India were off to a horrific start losing their top three with just 42 runs on board. A 110-run partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant steadied the home team. West Indies did pull things taking three wickets but crucial knocks from Washington Sundar and Deepak Chahar towards the end helped India go past the 250-run mark. In reply, West Indies were never in the chase as they kept on losing wickets. Chahar, Prasidh Krishna and Mohammed Siraj did most of the damage sharing eight wickets between them. Nicholas Pooran, Odean Smith and Alzaari Joesph did got starts but failed to capitalise on that and were eventually bowled out for 169.
