After a rewarding Day 6 for the Indian contingent at the Hangzhou Asian Games, Day 7 was an equally delightful one as the racket sports really lead the way with some historic performances. The Indian men's squash team beat Pakistan in a blockbuster final to clinch the gold, and Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale bagged gold in tennis mixed doubles final. Later, the pair of Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee played out of their skins to stun the world champion Chinese pair of Chen Meng and Wang Yidi and confirm India's first-ever table tennis women's doubles medal at the Asiad. Catch all the highlights from Day 7 of the 2023 Asian Games here. Absolutely dominating performance from India as they set aside arch-rivals 10-2 in their Pool A clash.

Srikanth wins a nailbiter and takes the Indian men's team into a historic final. Silver medal at least from here.

7:01pm: Men's Hockey - IND Vs PAK

The tie is at 2-2 after the doubles pairing of Dhruv and Arjun loses its match. Kidambi Srikanth is now in action in the decider. He needs to win this to take India into the summit clash.

India’s Sutirtha Mukherjee and Ayhika Mukherjee are doing really well in their match against China’s world No 2 pair of Chen Meng and Wang Yidi. The Indians have won the first two games are just one game away from scripting history by winning India's first-ever TT women's doubles Asiad medal.

Satwik-Chirag had a number of game points but the Korean pair prevails in the second game too to win the match, levelling the tie at 1-1.

Mirabai Chanu missed out on a medal, but India's other weightlifter Bindyarani Devi will look to finish on the podium in the women's 55kg category.

Satwik-Chirag lose the first game, but have levelled things up 9-9 in the second game. It is a riveting contest with little to separate the two pairs.

HS Prannoy puts India ahead in the men's team event, winning his singles match to give India a 1-0 lead over Korea in the semifinal tie. India's ace doubles pairing of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty is on court next.

India win GOLD! They beat Pakistan 2-1 in what was a fiesty affair. Abhay Singh saved two match points to clinch the gold medal for India
