India's star shuttler Lakshya Sen's win over Kevin Cordon in his campaign opener in the men's singles Group L match will not be counted as his opponent has pulled out of the Games due injury.

India's Team 2 are off to a great start, with Rhythm firing three 10s to get the ball rolling. While, her partner Arjun Cheema also gets a good start with two 10s and a 9. Brilliant overall!
Manu Bhaker rides the momentum wave after her bronze and gets off to a very good start. Sarabjot, on the other hand, shoots two 9s in the first five.
Ramita is on a roll as she gets 10.3, 10.1, 10.6, 10.9 and 10.5 in her first five shots, and sits on fourth place at the moment. Cautious start! Can she press the focus gear up a notch?
In her next five shots, Ramita fires 10.4, 10.1, 10.7, 10.6 and a 9.7 that sees her drop to to seventh spot. There will be an elimination after every two shots from now.
Ramita finishes seventh in the final and is out. Firing 10.4, 10.5, 10.2, 10.2 and 10.5 in her last five shots, and was eliminated in a nervy shoot-out.

Babuta fires 10.6, 10.8, 9.9 and 10.6 in the next four. That 9.9 would hurt, but he's still in the medal's position, and is looking good to take it. However, he comes up with a 10.2 and 10.7 to take the second spot for now.
Arjun finishes fourth in the men’s 10m air rifle final after firing 10.5, 10.1, 10.5 and 9.5 in the last four attempts. The 25-year-old looked great to take a medal for most parts of the game, but fell shot with a 9.9 and 9.5 that dented the chances. Immense effort overall.
World number one Iga Swiatek is currently taking on France's Diane Parry on the hallowed Court Philippe Chatrier. Swiatek leads 6-1, 3-1 and should not take long to finish this match off. Arjun Babuta narrowly missed out on a medal, but he's certainly not the first from the country to have done that. The list of India's fourth-placed Olympic finishes is a long-one. Some of the major misses have been that of the Indian women's hockey team and golfer Aditi Ashok in Tokyo 2020, and gymnast Dipa Karmakar, shooting legend Abhinav Bindra and tennis duo Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna in Rio 2016.

The Indian team went down in the 4th set and bowed out of the team's event. Indian team managed 54 points in the 4th set and in response to that Turkiye scored 58 points to knock out India.
Rafael Nadal lost to Novak Djokovic in the second set. He beats Nadal with 6-1 and 6-4 to enter the third round. Nadal showed some resilience in the second set and won four straight games after losing the first four on the trot. But Djokovic managed to win the last two games and sealed the match with an ace.
The centre gold ring on the archery target is only 12.2 centimetres in diameter. And it looks even smaller to the archers -- they are 70 metres away from the target, in Olympic competitions. Also, there's a countdown.
France and Turkiye are up against each other and after losing both games in the first set, Turkiye bounced back and level up in the second set.

Turkiye won the third set with 58 points whereas France managed to score only 57 points after hitting all 10s in the first game.
Set 4
Turkiye lost the 4th set against France by one point. France scored 56 points and Turkiye managed only 55. Hence the match will go for a shoot-off.
In the shoot-off, France and Turkiye both scored 27 points but it was France who hit a ten-pointer first so they are through to the finals. They will face Korea in the Gold medal match.
In the men's archery gold medal match, France are facing Korea. Yesterday, the Korean women's team won a tenth successive gold at the Games and continued their four decades of domination in the sport.
Turkiye won the first set but China bounced back in the next set and won that by 57 points when Turkiye managed only 56 points.
Set 3
Tukiye beat China in the third set to lead 4-2 in the bronze medal match. Turkiye managed to score 55 points and China made 54 points. 4th set in a few minutes.

France and Korea drew the first set with 57 points each.

Korea won the second set with 59 points in total to France's 58 points. The scoreline is Korea 3-1 France.
Republic of Korea won the men's archery team event by beating France 5-1. In the third set, Korea secured 59 points and France managed only 56 points.
Rohan Bopanna has called time on his career and announced that the Paris Olympics 2024 was his last event in Indian colours. He along with N Sriram Balaji lost to the French duo of Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Gael Monfils in the men's doubles first round under lights at court midnight on Sunday.
