It was all too easy for India in the end. The home team kept their winning streak intact in ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 with a thumping 160-run win over the Netherlands in Bengaluru on Diwali. Middle-order stallions Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul hit centuries and all top-five batters posted 50-plus scores to take India to a formidable total of 410/4 in the first innings. The bowlers did what they had to, enjoying a picnic of sorts as the likes of Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav too rolled their arm over. The Dutch batting eventually folded for 250, giving the hosts their ninth win in as many league games. All eyes are now on their semi-final clash against New Zealand in Mumbai.
