India Vs USA, ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2024, Toss And Teams - Check Playing XIs

Defending champions India have been asked to set a target by the United States of America in their final group match of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2024 on Sunday at the Mangaung Oval in Bloemfontein, South Africa. (More Cricket News)

With two wins in two, India U-19 are already through to the Super Six, but Uday Saharan & Co. are in no mood to slow down. At the toss, the skipper said that they planned to bowl first but they are also fine with batting first.

The 19-year-old added that Indian players are adapting to the Bloemfontein atmosphere as they are going to have matches at this venue. India made one change for the match, with Raj Limbani coming in for Dhanush Gowda.

India Playing XI: Adarsh Singh, Arshin Kulkarni, Musheer Khan, Uday Saharan (c), Priyanshu Moliya, Sachin Dhas, Aravelly Rao (wk), Murugan Abhishek, Naman Tiwari, Raj Limbani, Saumy Pandey.

Saharan hit classy half-centuries against Bangladesh and Ireland, while Musheer Khan was in sublime touch against the Irish team, hitting a brilliant century. In the bowling department, Saumy Pandey is showing his class. The left-arm spinner has so far taken seven wickets.

Rishi Ramesh, the USA captain, said that they are hoping for a good start against the most successful side in the tournament's history, the five-time champions. The USA also made one change. Manav Nayak is in for Khush Bhalala.

Despite losing their previous two matches, against Ireland by seven wickets and Bangladesh by 121 runs, the American colts can still make the Super Six with a win against India!

USA Playing XI: Prannav Chettipalayam, Bhavya Mehta, Siddarth Kappa, Rishi Ramesh (c), Utkarsh Srivastava, Manav Nayak, Amogh Arepally (wk), Parth Patel, Aarin Nadkarni, Ateendra Subramanian, Arya Garg.

For the record, the USA are competing in the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup for the first time, after 14 years. And today, they will rely heavily on Arya Garg, the 16-year-old left-arm seamer from New Jersey. He has taken five wickets in two matches.

Bangladesh, with two wins in three, have assured themselves a second-place finish in Group A and a passage to the Super Six. Ireland, with one win in three, are awaiting the India vs USA result.
