Rohit Sharma-led side released English pacer Jofra Archer whereas Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) also released World Cup winner Josh Hazlewood and Harshal Patel among others. Delhi Capitals retained the services of Rishabh Pant. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) released a spat of 12 players including Shardul Thakur and Shakib Al Hasan.
