Mumbai Indians succumbed to their sixth consecutive loss in IPL 2022 on Saturday as Lucknow Super Giants comfortably defended 199/4 against them at Brabourne Stadium. While it was KL Rahul who stole the show with his third IPL century in the first innings and helped LSG post a big total on the board, Avesh Khan shone in the second with figures of 3/30 in his four overs. The track was a belter and Mumbai Indians' poor effort as a bowling and fielding unit helped LSG's cause much better after Rohit Sharma opted to bowl first. The lack of confidence in MI players was visible in their body language and this defeat will further dent their morale. (SCORECARD | POINTS TABLE | FULL SCHEDULE)
