IPL 2023, RR Vs GT: Rashid Khan, Hardik Pandya Outpower Rajasthan Royals At Home, Set Up 9-Wicket Win - In Pics

Gujarat Titans, led by Hardik Pandya, outclassed home team Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on Friday, first by dismissing them for a meagre 118 runs and later by chasing down the target with 37 deliveries left. Opting to bat first, RR failed to step on the gas, as their batters could not combat the Afghan spin duo of Rashid Khan (3-14) and Noor Ahmad (2-25). Only captain Sanju Samson managed to score 30 runs, with the other batters falling way short. In the run chase, Shubman Gill (36) and Wriddhiman Saha (41*) started off strong, putting on 49 runs inside the powerplay. Once Gill was dismissed, Pandya (39 runs off 15 balls) took the run-scoring onus upon himself and was especially ruthless on Adam Zampa, scoring 24 runs off him in the 11th over. GT, thus, extended their lead at the top of the IPL table as the only team with 14 points to their name.
