The cricketer posted the news of the announcement on Instagram. In the post, Bumrah has also revealed the name of the child, 'Angad'.
"Our little family has grown & our hearts are fuller than we could ever imagine! This morning we welcomed our little boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah into the world. We are over the moon and can't wait for everything this new chapter of our lives brings with it," Bumrah captioned the post on Instagram.
With India taking on Nepal in the Asia Cup 2023 encounter, it seems certain that Bumrah will sit out of the game. India's first match with Pakistan was a washout. The Indian batters were a massive let down especially the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill as Pakistan's pace trio reigned supreme at Pallekele International Stadium.
India need to beat Nepal by a massive margin if they are to top the group and qualify for the Super 4s.
