Barcelona claimed a much-deserved 2-1 El Clasico win over Real Madrid with Franck Kessie's late goal Sunday to move 12 points clear at the top of La Liga. The victory dented Real Madrid's chances of retaining the Spanish league title and leaves the Catalans closer to lifting the trophy for the first time since 2019. Carlo Ancelotti's Real Madrid took the lead through a Ronald Araujo own goal but Xavi's men pulled one back thanks to Sergi Roberto just before half-time. Both sides had chances to win the game but the all-important goal came in the stoppage time when Alejandro Balde set up midfielder Kessie in the 92nd minute to send the Camp Nou crowd in delirium.
