Rahmanullah Gurbaz was adjudged man of the match as Afghanistan cantered to a 48-run win over Zimbabwe in the first T20 international at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday. Gurbaz hit a quickfire 45-ball 87 runs studded with six fours and seven sixes as Afghanistan set a good score of 198/5 in 20 overs. Skipper Asghar Afghan made 55 of 38 balls as Zimbabwe failed to curtail the flow of runs. Chasing, Zimbabwe started well and were at one point 106/3 in 13.1 overs. But a collapse saw them post just 150/7 in 20 overs. Rashid Khan took 3/28, while Fareed Ahmad took 2/31. For Zimbabwe Tinashe Kamunhukamwe made 44 runs.
