Trent Boult claimed his ninth five-wicket haul as his 5/43 blew away Bangladesh for 126 in the first innings of the second Test match against New Zealand at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch. New Zealand have taken a huge lead of 395 runs at stumps on Day 2. It remains to be seen whether New Zealand enforce the follow-on or will they give Ross Taylor a chance to bat one last time in Test cricket on Day 3 morning. In reply to New Zealand's mammoth 521/6 declared, the visiting batters never looked in control as they were reduced to 27/5 at one stage. Thereafter Nurul Hasan and Yasir Ali stitched together 60 runs for the sixth wicket. The dismissal of Nurul once again triggered the collapse as Bangladesh were bowled out in 41.2 overs.
